What a great experience! The operation ran on time and at our advanced pace really well! Definitely bring your backcountry skills. Even in this drought of January 2022 we had great powder turns! We will definitely be back! Great lunch sandwiches too!
A seriously epic trip with the best crew! Shauna, Dan, Jay and Tyler really went above and beyond. We were safe, communicated with often about terrain and brought to some places with amazing views! 12/10 recommend this expedition!
Great day out with Silverton Powder Cats! This was just before the big mid-Feb storm, and so even with a down year this group can get out there and find the powder. All guides are friendly, knowledgable and prioritize safety. I'd come out here again for sure!
Enjoyed a full day of Catskiing in Silverton with a group of experienced skiiers from Sweden. The whole setup from booking experience and guides are top notch. We enjoyed our outback experience and strongly recommend Silverton Powdercats!
What a great and super fun experience! The crew was amazing and very helpful. They are all very professional and safety-conscientious too. It has been a bad year for snow, but they managed to find some beautiful powder to ski on. I highly recommend Silverton Powdercats and can’t wait to go again.
My dad and I went on our first cat skiing trip with powdercats and it was incredible. The guides are friendly and very knowledgeable. I recommend this to anyone who is interested in getting into some backcountry powder turns!
For one of the worst snowpack on record I have to give the guides at Silverton Powdercats credit for still finding fresh tracks out on Molas Pass. We took snowmobiles deep into the backcountry where we were greeted by our snow cat for the day. The guides found us some nice powder in the glades where we got in plenty of runs. Had lunch served out on the mountain with excellent sandwiches from Breads’ in Durango. At the end of the day we were greeted with a delicious apres ski charcuterie spread including wine, beer, and other beverages. This was my second trip with this company and I will definitely return again.
Second time out with this experienced crew and, despite historically light snowpack, they still made it awesome. The wives came along this time and the guides did an amazing job making them feel confident and safe on the mountain. Overall the Powdercats just put together a world class experience with great attention to detail from backcountry safety to charcuterie and drinks around the fire upon our return. Can't wait for our next trip!
